I guess I always loved his music, unknowingly. The music of Pearl Harbor has been my favorite since the first time I watched the movie years ago, and only recently have I discovered that it’s by the same composer who also wrote the scores of dozens of other films, many of which I love (Da Vinci Code, A Beautiful Mind, to name a few). It always amazes me the ability of music to elicit such intense emotions, especially in movies, and I think this is especially true of Zimmer’s music. They always have a beautiful melodic quality that just goes directly to your heart.

It’s a freakin’ amazing browser, hands down. Google never lets me down. Too bad I have to use IE for work, bleeeeeh. Anyways, if you haven’t tried this thing, you totally should. Sorry if you are a MAC user though.

On a completely different note: I loathe lsat right now. argh.

I got my first A+ at Duke in a class that I almost withdrew from. It’s also my first real A in econ. Maybe I don’t fail as an econ major afterall xD.

So apparently the movie is coming out for this book that I read for the freshman summer reading. I wouldn’t say the book had great literary values, though it does present an interesting, and poignant, ethical dillema. Of course, the fact that Abigail Breslin is starring as Anna makes me want to see it even more. The trailer was cute 🙂
