that’s so me :D

What sets Chicago apart from other law schools is our unabashed enthusiasm for the life of the mind – the conviction that ideas matter, that they are worth discussing, and that legal education should devote itself to learning for learning’s sake, not just for earning’s sake.

How do I say no to this?!

or…how can I survive a no from them >.<

warm autumn afternoon

I finally got a break from all this crazy work. Managed to catch up sleep (yay!), enjoy a super warm day (almost too warm), beautiful autumn scenery, and painting my nails red. The color is almost…too sexy for the hand. I don’t know, it’s almost too diva-like, too glamorous, too…much? But it’s fun to venture out of my comfort zone I suppose. Oh I also finally put up my dries roses, after hanging them for a week or so 🙂

Tomorrow will be back to work: research paper draft, corporate finance paper, and LAW APPLICATIONS (Boston college & Cornell). AHH.

I’m still sadly undecided between Chicago and NYU :\

Reading Chicago Law website just makes me feel like the school and I click. On the other hand, I’m also very much excited and impressed by what NYU has to offer. *sigh*

exhausted

I haven’t felt this level of exhaustion since…I don’t know, freshman year? 1.5 months left. It’s not a long time, considering how much I have to do in that span of time. Yet, how I wish I could just fast forward to the holidays, when I will finally have a real break and see the friends I have not seen since last Christmas.

But life is good, I must keep telling myself.
